"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Ah, well yanno. We do a lot of feminist theory in Pol Sci at uni, and I guess it's just not something I'm particularly good at not getting into fights over. My brain is still in meltdown from when *Artassassin tried to tell me he draws impossibly grotesque 'women' not to objectify but 'empower' us, specifically after I'd told him most women actually find these depiction demeaning.
I was like, yeah, right luv, I'm su-uu-ure you know better than me what I find demeaning or not. Not even bothering to point out that that is a feminist critique in itself (our sexuality is, by and large, handed down to us by men). Bah.
Your art is simply amazing. I really love the pillbox wonderland idea. Would be spiffing to see it up and running eventually. I'm gonna stick you on my watch list and watch you like a hawk, because hi, your sketches alone blow my mind.
